Location: Harrow, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £195 - £255 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (September 2025 - July 2026)
SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a fantastic, modern secondary special needs school in Harrow to recruit a flexible and enthusiastic 6th Form Teacher for the full academic year starting September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role focuses on delivering a well-rounded and engaging curriculum to post-16 learners, helping to prepare them for life beyond school.
Role Overview:
Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum to 6th Form students with special educational needs
Follow specialist subject lesson plans provided by experienced subject teachers (e.g. Maths, Science, English)
Support students in developing both academic and life skills in a nurturing environment
Work closely with a strong and supportive team of SEN professionals
Use creativity, patience, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in an educational setting
Has experience working with students with SEND or a strong interest in special education
Is a great communicator, able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
Can follow instructions and work collaboratively with subject specialists and support staff
Is flexible, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic learning environment
Demonstrates a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on students' lives
