Contract: Full-time | Long-term
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £170 - £269 (MPS to UPS - London Fringe)

Are you a creative and dedicated Art Teacher looking for your next challenge this September? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, which is urgently seeking a skilled Art Teacher for a long-term position. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent.

About the School:
This school prides itself on fostering a nurturing environment where creativity and individuality are celebrated. With small class sizes (2-8 students), you'll have the opportunity to deliver tailored, engaging lessons that genuinely make a difference.

Following recent staff changes, the school is looking for someone who can bring structure, passion, and innovation to the Creative Arts department from the outset.

Candidate Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • A minimum of one year of classroom experience in UK secondary schools

  • Ability to plan and deliver Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Full availability from September 2025 for a long-term teaching role

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • A genuine enthusiasm for Art and for inspiring creative learners

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Legal right to work in the UK
