Dynamic and Reliable Teaching Assistants - Truro
Full-time | Part-time | Primary, Secondary & SEN Settings

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a range of primary, secondary, and specialist SEN schools across Truro and we're on the lookout for dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our growing team.

Whether you're supporting in a mainstream classroom, working 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs, or assisting in small SEN groups, this is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people across Cornwall.


What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in class, small groups, and 1:1

  • Assisting pupils with SEN, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs

  • Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

  • Building strong relationships with pupils and supporting their social, emotional, and academic development

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure every child thrives


We're looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

  • Dynamic, reliable, and flexible - every day is different!

  • Passionate about education and helping children succeed

  • Confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs

  • Great communicators and team players

  • Experience isn't essential - full training and CPD are available
