Drama Teacher - Slough, Berkshire

A well-established secondary school in Slough is seeking a Drama Teacher to join them on a temporary, full-time basis starting from 22nd September. This is a five-day-per-week role, ideal for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama specialist. The position will continue for an ongoing period, with potential for extension.

The school day runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and daily rates range between £180 and £240, depending on experience and qualifications.

Drama Teacher - Slough

  • Inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through dynamic, creative drama lessons that encourage expression, collaboration, and confidence.

  • Develop students' performance and interpretation skills while introducing them to a broad range of theatrical styles, practitioners, and techniques.

  • Foster a love of the dramatic arts in a supportive and inclusive environment, enabling students to explore their creativity and voice.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and personal growth in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for theatre and performance

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
