A specialist STEM-focused secondary school in Leicester is looking for a skilled and motivated Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. Design and Technology Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Teach DT across Key Stages 4 and 5, with a focus on practical application, including Product Design, Engineering, or Systems (depending on your specialism)
Deliver engaging lessons that integrate real-world technical and design skills
Support students working towards technical qualifications and industry-standard outcomes
Contribute to the development of a high-quality STEM curriculum that reflects current industry practices
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in all workshop and classroom activities

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
