Science Teacher
Buckingham, Buckinghamshire - required as soon as possible

A thriving secondary school in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join their Science Department this Autumn Term 2025. The role is a long-term position, with a view to permanent contract, with both experienced QTS Teachers and ECTs considered.

Role Includes:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons at KS3 & KS4
  • Confidently teach GCSE specifications and prepare pupils for examinations
  • Mark, assess, and provide constructive feedback to drive pupil progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources
  • Create opportunities for extra-curricular Science enrichment
  • Play an active role in the wider school community

Requirements Includes:

  • Degree in a relevant subject and QTS (or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge and proven ability to teach Science at KS3 & KS4
  • Knowledge of GCSE Science specifications and assessment requirements
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Passion for inspiring young learners through Science
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
  • Based in, or able to commute reliably to, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
