Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Warrington - Full-Time - ASAP Start

Tradewind Education is currently recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Warrington. This is a full-time role starting ASAP and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant, Primary Teaching Assistant or Classroom Support Assistant who is passionate about education and eager to make a real difference in the classroom.

The Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Warrington, you will:

  • Provide small group interventions and 1:1 support to pupils who require additional help.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the curriculum.

  • Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), acting as a SEN Teaching Assistant when required.

  • Prepare learning materials, set up classroom resources and help maintain an organised learning environment.

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers and parents.

  • Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Lead activities such as phonics, reading support, numeracy boosters and creative tasks.

  • Supervise pupils during break and lunch times, ensuring safety and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting.

  • An enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to apply for one).

  • Professional references covering the last two years.

  • A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners.

  • The legal right to work in the UK.
