Tradewind are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a warm and inclusive school setting in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with special educational needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop key early skills in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN in EYFS
• Support children with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language delays, and developmental difficulties
• Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, or similar role supporting children with additional needs
• Experience or knowledge of EYFS framework preferred
• Patience, empathy and a calm, caring attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
