Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher of History looking for a new supply role in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist History teacher join an small independent school for girls .

This is a temporary supply role to cover a sickness absence.

The Job

Teacher of Key stage 3 and GCSE History

Five days week

Experience of the AQA GCSE syllabus would be useful

Positive confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching History to students aged 11 to 16.

Oversubscribed independent school for girls aged 11 to 16 in South Manchester

Excellent senior leadership support

Small classes of up to 15 students with good behaviour and a drive to be academically successful.

The school is part of a thriving private academy trust supporting Manchester's Islamic community which includes a boys school and a preparatory school.

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
