SEN Teaching Assistants - Daily Supply

📍 North Birmingham | All Age Special School | Ages 3-19

We are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join an all-age special school in North Birmingham on a daily supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils aged 3-19 with a wide range of needs in a supportive and rewarding environment.

The Role

As an SEN TA, you will:

Provide tailored support to pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism (ASC), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Support pupils with additional and complex needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning.

Assist teachers in delivering lessons, interventions, and personal care where required.

Create a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes independence and personal development.

Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

About You

Essential: Prior experience supporting pupils with MLD, SLD, ASC, and/or PMLD.

Experience working in a special school or SEN setting.

Confidence in supporting pupils with additional and complex needs, including personal care where required.

Patience, resilience, and empathy to support students with a wide range of needs.

Flexible and adaptable to work across different age groups (EYFS through to Post-16).
