Specialist Advisory Teacher - Autism (ASC/ASD)
📍 Redbridge | 💼 MPS6 - UPS3 (£258-£288 per day)
📅 Start: Immediately - October Half Term (Sickness Cover)
Do you have extensive classroom experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC/ASD) and a passion for developing inclusive practice?
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Specialist Advisory Teacher to provide tailored support to schools across Redbridge. This is a unique opportunity to work in partnership with primary and secondary staff, modelling effective approaches, building confidence, and improving outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
The role:
Partner with a group of mainstream and specialist schools in Redbridge.
Demonstrate and share practical strategies in classrooms.
Coach staff to embed inclusive practices that meet the needs of learners with ASC.
Champion best practice and influence whole-school provision.
About you:
An experienced SEN teacher with strong expertise in Autism and complex needs.
Confident working across both primary and secondary phases.
A solutions-focused professional who can inspire, advise, and build capacity in others.
Skilled in implementing and promoting evidence-based approaches for ASC.
