Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant - Oldham

Our client school in Oldham is a warm and welcoming environment, dedicated to providing high-quality education for every child. With the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at the heart of the school, they are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support children's learning, development, and well-being in the EYFS. You will work closely with the team to nurture young learners, helping them thrive in the crucial early stages of their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children within EYFS.

  • Assist with activities that promote learning through play.

  • Support children's social, emotional, and communication development.

  • Help prepare and maintain learning resources and the classroom environment.

  • Observe and record progress, feeding back to the class teacher.

  • Contribute to the implementation of individual learning plans.

  • Assist with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).

  • Experience in an Early Years setting.

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A nurturing approach and a genuine passion for supporting young children.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
