Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant - Oldham
Our client school in Oldham is a warm and welcoming environment, dedicated to providing high-quality education for every child. With the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at the heart of the school, they are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support children's learning, development, and well-being in the EYFS. You will work closely with the team to nurture young learners, helping them thrive in the crucial early stages of their education.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for children within EYFS.
Assist with activities that promote learning through play.
Support children's social, emotional, and communication development.
Help prepare and maintain learning resources and the classroom environment.
Observe and record progress, feeding back to the class teacher.
Contribute to the implementation of individual learning plans.
Assist with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Experience in an Early Years setting.
Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A nurturing approach and a genuine passion for supporting young children.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
