SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a friendly primary school in the Bury area. This position is full-time and will start immediately, continuing for the full academic year.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for children with SEND.

• Assisting with learning activities, adapting tasks where necessary.

• Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development.

• Helping to create a safe and positive learning environment.

• Liaising with teachers, SENCO and external professionals.

We are looking for:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH or Speech & Language needs desirable).

• A caring, patient and empathetic approach.

• Ability to use initiative and follow instructions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for helping children to succeed.
