PE Teacher - Daventry

Location: Daventry
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026| Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term

We're working with a number of forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in Daventry seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their teams from January 2026 (or sooner). Whether you're an experienced PE teacher or an ECT looking for your first role, both permanent and long-term contracts are available.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for GCSE PE, BTEC Sport, and extra-curricular coaching

  • Encouraging students to embrace a healthy, active lifestyle through a variety of sports and physical activities

  • Organising and participating in school sports fixtures, clubs, and enrichment activities

  • Supporting whole-school wellbeing initiatives and contributing to a positive, team-oriented school culture

  • Collaborating with your department on curriculum planning, assessment, and whole-child development

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified PE teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) - both ECTs and experienced teachers welcome

  • Confident delivering a range of physical activities, including traditional team sports and fitness-based sessions

  • A passionate educator who can engage students of all abilities, encouraging participation and effort

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is keen to contribute to whole-school life
