Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: North West London
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £115 per day (PAYE, DOE)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a mainstream primary school from October 2025.
The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, offering tailored interventions and small group learning within a structured and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate, proactive practitioners to help pupils achieve their potential both academically and socially.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with cognitive learning needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans
Encouraging confidence, independence and social interaction
Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and wider staff to deliver targeted interventions
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEND (school, SRP or similar setting)
A patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of learning difficulties, autism and/or speech and language needs
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
