Salary: £25,583 - £25,989
Hours: 32.5 per week / Term Time Only
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026
Start Date: As soon as possible
DBS Check: Enhanced

The Role
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint an EYFS Classroom Support Assistant to join a thriving primary setting in the City Centre.
This role will focus on supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception), many of whom have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex learning needs. You will work as part of a nurturing EYFS team to provide high-quality care, targeted interventions, and a stimulating environment that supports every child's development.
About You
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual who can:
- Bring experience of working with young children in EYFS settings
- Support pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs) in their early learning journey
- Act as a positive role model, fostering independence, curiosity, and social skills
- Create a safe, imaginative, and engaging learning environment
- Demonstrate resilience, patience, and adaptability when supporting children's needs
- Work collaboratively with EYFS teachers, SEN specialists, and external professionals
- Hold or be willing to complete Team Teach training
