Tradewind Recruitment recruits SEN Teachers for schools across Cardiff and, as such, offer a range of jobs for Teachers from entry to more senior levels. An SEN Teacher could find themselves working with SEN pupils in a mainstream class or in a specialist school.
As an SEN Teacher you will need to be able to deal with difficult situations, possess huge amounts of patience and understanding, appreciating your students’ needs and helping them to learn. You will need to manage challenging behaviour and the perfect candidate should have the desire to help those who are more academically and socially disadvantaged. You’ll be working with pupils who may be physically disabled, have sensory difficulties, be emotionally vulnerable or have a learning difficulty such as Dyslexia, Autism or ADHD.
