BESD ICT Teacher

We are working with a SEND school near Trowbridge, and they are currently seeking a Computer Science Teacher with EBD Experience to work with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties on a full-time basis from January 2020.

The school is a Specialist provision catering for pupils with BESD and Attachment Disorders. They require a Teacher that can teach ICT and Computer Science to KS3 & KS4 students with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties. The experience of working with people from similar background or challenges is highly desirable.

The position is full-time and starting in January 2020 and will be ongoing for the rest of the academic year of 2020 with the possibility of becoming fixed term contract.
Previous experience of working with young people with BESD is essential. It will be expected that candidates will have good communication skills and appropriate qualifications to be able to meet these high standards.

Must have:
-Experience with supporting young people with EBD in the past
-Behaviour management Training or experience
-QTS- Secondary ICT or equivalent in ICT.

Highly Desirable:

-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people with attachment disorder and challenging behaviour
