Are you an innovative EYFS teacher who holds the belief that Early Years teaching should be child centred and appropriately challenging? Would you like to work in a school where children can thrive through effective continuous provision planning and a highly supportive school community?


Tradewind, Permanent division, are excited to be working with this fantastic Church of England primary school who are now seeking an EYFS specialist teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from January 2020. The School - EYFS Teacher - Southwark, Inner London

Located in the heart of the bustling borough of Southwark, this welcoming Church of England primary school is now seeking an EYFS teacher to join their team from January 2020! For this role, you will be teaching a Reception class who have already made excellent progress towards the Early Learning Goals. The EYFS team are passionate about developing the unique child and building a strong supportive network within the community and through parents. Ofsted have additionally praised the EYFS team's accurate use of assessment and consistently providing a high quality of learning to all children. The Reception classes benefit from a separate outdoor area which includes a mud kitchen, bike area and small woodland area. Furthermore, due to the strong community links within school, parents are highly supportive of the setting and eager to be involved in class initiatives such as daily reading and supported homework. About the Role - EYFS Teacher - Southwark, Inner London

QTS achieved and observed "good" level of teaching.
The suitable EYFS teacher will be able to confidently use the Development Matters framework to confidently target children and ensure good progress towards the Early Learning Goals.
To be successful in this position you will need EYFS experience and ability to maintain high levels of attainment through strong subject knowledge and accurate assessment.
This school can offer a clear progression plan and leadership CPD so that you can make a lasting career within the school.
This role can be open to NQTs who are looking to start their NQT induction in January due to the school being able to provide an outstanding induction programme through a well trained mentor.
