We are currently looking for a Primary Trained Teacher to work at a SEN school in Bristol. The role is full-time and will be teaching a small sized class across all Primary ages with PMLD and Autism. The class sizes are small and has 2 LSAs in there. The class has mainly KS2 students of different year groups. The ability to manage challenging behaviour and resilience is the key to be successful for this position as well as being aware of Autism, Aspergers and PMLD. The position starts in September and will continue for the rest of the academic year of 2020-2021.

This role might be ideal for you if:

-You are a qualified Primary trained teacher with QTS or Equivalent.
-You have previously taught SEN students with physical disabilities
-You have Autism experience and worked with verbal and pre-verbal students
-You are well versed in Makaton and PECS
-You are available for work from September 2020

To join us and be successful in this exciting Teaching position, you will need to:
** Have experience of working with children with SEN; particularly Autism and PMLD.
*Will have confidence to manage behaviour and create engaging, differentiated lessons for each child.

*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
