A Church of England Primary school on the Isle of Dogs, in Tower Hamlets is seeking a full-time class teacher to start in September 2020 for the full academic.
A permanent contract is available for the right candidate.
The role is a class teaching position with responsibility for teaching a Year 3,4 or 5 class, with flexibility upon preference, and with competitive salary available in line with experience (MPS 1-6 Inner London - £30480 - £41483) plus potential TLR to lead a Core Subject for the right candidate, negotiable at interview.

This Ofsted graded 'Good' school situated in Tower Hamlets are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher to join their team in September 2020.
This Church of England Primary School serves the children and all people in their local community, irrespective of their race, religion, ability, gender or ethnic background. To that end, the school aims to offer a high-quality and enjoyable learning environment that is underpinned by Christian beliefs and values. Although a faith school, the school is very inclusive, friendly and has the added bonus of a Headteacher who values her staff.
The headteacher is ideally looking for a British trained teacher with QTS although will consider an overseas trained teacher with experience of teaching Key Stage two classes in an inner city Primary School.

The responsibilities of this Primary teacher role will include:
*Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for a Year 3,4 or 5 class
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
*Creating a classroom where children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning styles
*Use of a Creative Curriculum and to ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing teaching and learning of a high standard

*Be an outstanding Newly Qualified teacher with excellent references from their placements
*Flexible, passionate and a flair for educating Key Stage 2 children
*Someone who recognises and wants to progress within their chosen profession

Job Requirements

Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Newly qualified teachers with teaching placements in Key Stage 2.
