🌟 Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Havering, London
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (Part-time considered)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom? We are looking for a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our committed team at a welcoming secondary school in Havering.

About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). You'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, enabling all students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies

  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence

  • Provide academic and emotional support to students as needed

  • Assist teachers in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
