Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to work cwith schools to support children's learning, development, and well-being. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the early years of education and who has the passion and skills to support young learners in their early stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children within the EYFS.
  • Assist with the delivery of activities that promote learning through play.
  • Support children's social and emotional development, fostering positive relationships.
  • Help with the preparation and maintenance of learning resources and the classroom environment.
  • Observe and record children's progress, feeding back to the class teacher.
  • Work closely with the EYFS team to implement individual learning plans.
  • Support the development of children's speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Assist with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and show initiative.
  • A nurturing approach and a passion for working with young children.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
