Are you looking for a rewarding new opportunity as a SEN Teacher to support SEN learners?

Do you have Special Needs Experience working within a Mainstream Primary School and/or leading in a Alternative Provision?

If so, we'd love to hear from you!

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a mainstream Primary School for the new academic year starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that is in the process of establishing a dedicated Resource Base to support pupils aged 3-11 with EHCPs or those in the assessment phase.

As part of this exciting development, the school is building a strong SEN team committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. You'll play a key role in shaping the provision from the ground up, helping to design and deliver a personalised curriculum for learners with a range of complex needs.

We are seeking to recruit a SEN Teacher with prior experience teaching in a mainstream provision and/or in a SEN setting. We also want to hear from SEN Teachers with specific training with Attention Autism, Lego Therapy, Zones of Reflection, Sensory Play and Animal Therapy that would be beneficial as well as experience delivering individulised lesson plans.

In this exciting role you will;

  • work part of a specialist team to lead class groups as a SEN Teacher in all aspects of the curriculum
  • prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
  • deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
  • promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes

We'd love to hear from you if;

  • you have qualified teacher status in the UK and/ or experienced SEN Teacher from overseas
  • you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
  • you have experience working with SEN learners as a SEN Teacher
  • you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
