SEN Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind are looking for a passionate SEN learning support assistant, who would like a career in supporting children with special educational needs. Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a graduate keen to explore a future in teaching? As a full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives - supporting children with a range of needs, tailoring learning experiences, and helping them flourish both academically and personally.

We're Looking For:

  • SEN experience or a genuine passion to support children with additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH ect)

  • A positive, proactive approach and willingness to adapt to classroom needs

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • A strong desire to make a real impact in a young learner's life

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN

  • Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Ability to provide professional references and explain any employment gaps over the last 10 years
