HLTA Opportunity - Full Time | Welcoming Primary School | Dagenham

Are you an experienced HLTA or Cover Supervisor with a passion for supporting children's learning across KS1 and KS2?

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Dagenham that is seeking a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a positive school environment, and is looking to make a real difference across both Key Stages.

✅ What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a HLTA or Cover Supervisor in a UK primary school

  • The ability to confidently cover classes across KS1 and KS2

  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude

  • A commitment to supporting children of all abilities

Essential Compliance Requirements:

Before you can work with us, you'll need:

  • A valid Right to Work in the UK

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years and CV covering full work history since leaving formal education

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential with proven experience)
