SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | Newham | Full-Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work closely with students who require additional help in accessing the curriculum.

The Role:

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties) in class and during interventions

  • Work one-to-one or in small groups, helping to reinforce learning and boost confidence

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and differentiated instruction

  • Monitor student progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and support plans

  • Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting young people with SEN, ideally in a school or similar setting

  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
