About the Role:
We are working with a specialist SEN school in Sefton seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, MLD, and SEMH.
This full-time position will involve teaching Maths at a functional or entry-level standard, tailored to meet the individual learning plans of small class groups. You'll work alongside experienced SEN support staff and benefit from a strong pastoral and leadership structure.
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ QTS or QTLS (Strong unqualified teachers with SEN experience also considered)
✔ Experience teaching Maths in an SEN, PRU or alternative provision setting
✔ A creative and differentiated approach to teaching numeracy and functional maths
✔ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔ A patient, adaptable, and inclusive teaching style
