Pay: £95 - £115 per day, depending on experience (PAYE)

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Barnet, which has a dedicated Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) for pupils with Autism (ASD) and other learning needs. The school is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their ARP team from September.
The Role
As a SEND TA within the ARP, you will support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who require tailored learning approaches and emotional support. Working alongside the ARP lead, teachers, and therapists, you will help pupils engage with the curriculum both within the provision and in some mainstream lessons. Your role will involve one-to-one support, small group interventions, and close collaboration with parents and staff to ensure consistency in care and communication.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience supporting young people with special educational needs, particularly Autism or speech, language and communication needs
A calm, empathetic and patient approach to learning support
The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team
A sound understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
Full-time availability from September 2025
