A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role that will continue until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups, both in class and on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Helping to plan and deliver tailored interventions to support student progress
Monitoring and recording student progress and feeding back to teaching staff
Supporting students with additional needs to access the curriculum effectively
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (this is essential)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A proactive, flexible, and patient approach to supporting learning
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or working with young people
