EYFS Supply Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield
Role Type: Flexible, Ad Hoc Supply
Location: Primary Schools across Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £85 - £95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Chesterfield? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking skilled and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day cover across local primary schools.

About the Role:

  • Providing support in Nursery and Reception classrooms across different schools

  • Assisting with early years learning and development in line with EYFS frameworks

  • Working on an ad hoc basis to cover sickness, training days, and staff absences

  • Supporting classroom teachers with both group activities and 1:1 interventions

What We're Looking For:

  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (essential for maintaining EYFS ratios)

  • A minimum of 3 days availability each week

  • Experience working within EYFS settings in schools or nurseries

  • A proactive, nurturing approach and genuine passion for working with young children

  • Access to your own transport is highly desirable due to the variety of school locations
