Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and other developmental or behavioural challenges.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide one-on-one or small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You'll play an active role in adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles, ensuring every child feels included, engaged, and valued.

You will also help track progress, record key observations, and share insights with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure a consistent and personalised approach. Your ability to build trusting relationships with pupils will be crucial, as will your skill in applying effective behaviour management strategies. There is training and ongoing support available to you through Tradewind, including CPD courses and a dedicated consultant to find you your ideal role.
