Science Teacher - Wirral - Long-Term Role - September Start
Location: Wirral
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: Until at least Christmas (with potential to extend)
Daily Pay: Up to £223.62 per day
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Role Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Contract
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-regarded Wirral secondary school to recruit a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity starting in September 2025.
This exciting role involves teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a forward-thinking and supportive science department committed to high standards and student achievement.
The successful Science Teacher will be joining our Wirral client who have worked as a school community to outline and establish their vision, mission and core values - which are at the heart of everything they do. The Ideal Science Teacher Will Have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
- Contribute to departmental planning and school development initiatives
