Full time, PE teacher required in Hertfordshire
A PE teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS) is required to start in September or sooner at a small, mixed secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Tradewind recruitment are working with a specialist School in Hatfield to recruit a qualified and experienced PE teacher with at least one year of UK experience (MPS1 up to UPS3).
The successful candidate will be teaching very small groups from 2 to 8 students at a time on a long-term basis for the entire academic year.
The role is to replace a permanent member of staff and the option of temporary, fixed term and permanent contracts are available.
Requirements for the role :
- Qualified teacher status.
- Good behaviour management .
- Experience teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 students (mixed).
- Full-time availability Monday to Friday.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full DBS check (we can apply for this on your behalf if necessary).
- Passion for teaching sport.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and other staff members.
The successful candidate will receive:
- A good salary matching your experience and suitability for the role (£169 - £259 per day)
- Main pay scale to upper pay scale in London fringe (£33,074 - £50,470)
