Full time, PE teacher required in Hertfordshire

A PE teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS) is required to start in September or sooner at a small, mixed secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Tradewind recruitment are working with a specialist School in Hatfield to recruit a qualified and experienced PE teacher with at least one year of UK experience (MPS1 up to UPS3).

The successful candidate will be teaching very small groups from 2 to 8 students at a time on a long-term basis for the entire academic year.

The role is to replace a permanent member of staff and the option of temporary, fixed term and permanent contracts are available.

Requirements for the role :

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Good behaviour management .
  • Experience teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 students (mixed).
  • Full-time availability Monday to Friday.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full DBS check (we can apply for this on your behalf if necessary).
  • Passion for teaching sport.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and other staff members.

The successful candidate will receive:
