Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Burton-upon-Trent to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants for the September 2025 start.
We are looking for passionate and resilient individuals to join a supportive and nurturing school environment, where you will be instrumental in helping children reach their full potential. The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and moderate to severe behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis
Assist with the implementation of EHCPs (Education Health and Care Plans)
Foster positive relationships to support emotional and social development
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD
A calm and empathetic approach to managing behaviour
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A passion for supporting vulnerable young people in education
