Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Starting September 2025

Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools across Wellingborough that are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to build a career in education.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising whole classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring learning continues smoothly
Providing feedback to teachers and school leaders on student progress and conduct
Supporting students across a range of year groups and subjects
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring)
A confident and professional approach to classroom management
Excellent communication skills and a calm, positive attitude
A strong interest in education - ideal for those considering a future in teaching
Availability for a full-time role with the potential to move into a permanent contract
