Science Teacher

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for your next role? We are currently seeking experienced Science Teachers (specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics) to join our supply team and work in Swindon. This can be full-time or part-time starting in September 2025!
Tradewind have many long-standing relationships with schools in Swindon and come to us regularly for help with their recruitment. Pay will be based on pay scale but will begin for at £140 per day up to UPS1. We pay our teaching staff PAYE (no umbrella companies or fees!).

The ideal Science supply teachers will have a passion for teaching all Sciences and a strong track record of engaging and inspiring students in their learning of science. They will have excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills and be committed to supporting the school's ethos and values. There is an opportunity for permanent jobs with our client schools directly if things go well.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential if you have proven experience of teaching Science
* Relevant degree and teaching qualifications
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level
* Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
* Experience with teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics
* Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students
* Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
