Teaching Assistant - Croydon - Start ASAP or September 2025
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join supportive and inclusive schools in Croydon. This full-time, term-time-only position is perfect for individuals passionate about education and eager to support pupils in reaching their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers to support learning, manage classroom activities, and provide one-to-one or small group interventions. Whether you're experienced or looking to begin your journey in education, we'd love to hear from you!
This role is a great fit for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or those with backgrounds in childcare, youth work, or SEN support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
Provide one-to-one or small group academic and emotional support
Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Support students with special educational needs if required
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (any setting)
Positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to learning support
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
