We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work at supportive primary schools in Southwark, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning activities and interventions
Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping children to access the curriculum and develop confidence
Monitor student progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive

The Essentials:
To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
Have experience working with children with additional needs in a school or care setting
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
Possess a valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to obtain one)
Provide professional references covering the last two years
Have the legal right to work in the UK
