About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them achieve their individual learning goals and develop independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse SEN requirements
- Creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring pupil progress against specific targets
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and support staff
- Liaising closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
- Adapting teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication development

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN provision
- Strong understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities
- Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills
- Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching approach
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
