Teaching Assistant - EYFS & KS1

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role in a supportive primary school environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming Primary School in the Brinnington area of Stockport. This exciting opportunity begins in September 2025 and will involve working across both EYFS and KS1 classes.

The school is seeking a quality, experienced candidate who can confidently support teaching and learning across the early years and Key Stage 1. Your ability to engage young learners, support their individual needs, and contribute positively to the classroom environment will be essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working in EYFS and/or KS1 settings

  • Be confident supporting groups and individuals with varied learning needs

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Be proactive, nurturing, and enthusiastic in their approach

This is a full-time, long-term role, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
