Tradewind Recruitment is working with supportive and progressive secondary schools in Wellingborough who are looking to welcome enthusiastic Science Graduates into their departments from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, perfect for individuals considering teacher training or careers in education, tutoring, or youth development.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Science Graduate working within a secondary school setting, you'll be supporting students and staff in a variety of ways:

  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Offering one-to-one and small group support to students who need help grasping key scientific concepts

  • Helping to prepare materials, equipment, and demonstrations for practical lessons

  • Providing classroom support to teachers and helping to manage student behaviour

  • Acting as a positive role model, inspiring pupils with your enthusiasm for science

This Role Would Suit You If:

  • You hold a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related science discipline

  • You're interested in pursuing a career in teaching, tutoring, or education support

  • You're confident, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with young people

  • You're patient, adaptable, and willing to learn on the job

  • You have strong communication skills and a professional attitude
