About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EAL Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school community in Bolton. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of children who are learning English as an additional language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to EAL pupils, assisting them in accessing the curriculum.
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver effective interventions.
  • Support the development of language skills through targeted activities.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and track the progress of EAL pupils, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
