Salary: £90 to £100 per day (PAYE only)

Tradewind Recruitment and SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in a range of well-regarded secondary schools in the London Borough of Ealing. These roles offer invaluable classroom experience and are ideal for individuals looking to explore or pursue a career in education, including future teacher training.
About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistants, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support students' academic progress and overall well-being. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual and small group support to students to help reinforce lesson content and deepen understanding
- Assisting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), those with English as an Additional Language (EAL), or those requiring additional emotional or behavioural support
- Encouraging positive behaviour, contributing to a calm and focused classroom atmosphere
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, setting up classroom resources and equipment, and organising materials
- Supporting students during classroom activities, exams, and transitions between lessons
- Tracking student progress, observing learning behaviours, and feeding back observations to teaching staff
- Acting as a positive role model and encouraging students to engage fully with their learning

What We Are Looking For
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a university degree in any subject (minimum requirement)
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in education, teaching, or child and adolescent development
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people
- Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
- Provide a full CV that covers the last ten years of education and employment, where applicable
Additional Desirable Attributes:
- Prior experience working with children or young people, either in a school, tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering capacity
- Interest in applying for a teacher training programme in the future
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
