Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for Science Technicians to work in a range of mainstream secondary schools across South East London, including immediate long-term roles in areas such as Greenwich.

Whether you're an experienced Science Technician or a science graduate looking to gain school-based experience, we want to hear from you! Prior technician experience is preferred but not essential. What's crucial is a passion for science, reliability, and a willingness to support the smooth running of a busy science department.

Science Technician Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain lab equipment and resources for practical science lessons

  • Support teachers and students during experiments

  • Maintain a safe and organised lab environment

  • Follow health and safety procedures and assist with stock control

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

  • A science qualification or interest in laboratory work

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Reliable and enthusiastic attitude
