Are you an education graduate looking to kickstart your career? Or are you an experienced Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge? If so, Tradewind Recruitment could have the role for you!
We are currently working with a Catholic Primary School in Kensington, Liverpool who are looking for a committed and passionate HLTA to join their team from September 2025. You will be based within Key Stage Two.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the class in teachers' absence (e.g. PPA)
- Preparing and adapting learning materials to suit different abilities and needs
- Support delivery of interventions
- Provide support for pupils with SEND/EAL
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Manage behaviour in line with school policy
- Promote pupil wellbeing and emotional support
Candidate requirements:
- At Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School (or equivalent) as minimum
- Classroom experience is essential, particularly in KS2
- Familiarity with curriculum delivery and classroom management
- SEN experience is desirable
- Confidence in covering lessons in teacher's absence
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
