We're working in partnership with a range of alternative provisions, pupil referral units (PRUs), and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) schools to recruit committed and adaptable teachers who thrive in more specialist educational settings.
About the Roles:
You will work with students who may have:
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Challenging behaviour
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Complex learning difficulties
Exclusion history or are at risk of disengagement from mainstream education
Your role will involve delivering tailored lessons, fostering engagement, and creating a safe, inclusive environment where every pupil feels seen, heard, and supported.
We're Looking For Teachers Who:
Have QTS or QTLS and strong classroom management skills
Have experience teaching in PRUs, SEND schools, or alternative provisions
Understand trauma-informed practice and inclusive teaching approaches
Are adaptable, calm under pressure, and passionate about meeting individual needs
Are confident delivering both subject-specific and cross-curricular learning at primary or secondary level
Desirable Experience/Training:
Team Teach, PRICE or other de-escalation/behaviour management training
Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or complex SEMH needs
Safeguarding Level 2+ and knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Experience working with outside agencies and multidisciplinary teams
