Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistant - Sheffield - September 2025 Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEND? Are you looking for flexible but consistent work within Sheffield primary schools?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025. This full-time position will involve working across various primary school settings within Sheffield.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with SEND needs, both in class and on a 1:1 basis.
Working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, depending on school requirements.
Travelling to different primary schools across Sheffield.
Being open to long-term placements in one school if suitable for both parties.
Must be available at least 3 full days per week.

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months experience working with children in a school or SEND setting.
Confident in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
A flexible and proactive attitude to working in different school environments.
Willingness to travel across the city.
Two professional references covering the last two years of employment.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
