A specialist Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Scunthorpe is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their committed team from September 2025. This is a full-time role for the academic year.
As the successful teacher, you will be supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with diverse needs. You will be paid in line with the national teacher's pay scale (M1-M6 equivalent, specific daily rate dependent on experience).

Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils, adaptable to varying learning styles and needs.
Has experience of or a strong interest in teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, ideally within an SEMH or SEND setting.
Is committed to inclusive education and celebrates diversity, with a strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies.
Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicates effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Brings creativity, energy, and resilience to their practice, with a patient and understanding approach.

Who we're looking for:
Qualified teachers with QTS OR a recognised teaching qualification.
An Enhanced Child Only DBS and/or Overseas Police checks.
A CV that covers your employment and education history since you finished formal education and any employment breaks must be explained.
