Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and high-performing secondary school in the Northwood area who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a long-term contract until December 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 in a school that values academic excellence and student wellbeing.

Position Details:
Role: Biology Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 to KS5
Contract: Long-term (September 2025 - December 2025)
Location: Northwood area, West London
Hours: Full-time preferred (8:30am-3:30pm); part-time applicants welcome
Pay: Outer London MPS (depending on experience)
Facilities: On-site parking available
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Biology lessons across all key stages
Inspire students with a love of science and support them in reaching their academic potential
Contribute to a collaborative and innovative Science department
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related subject
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Approachable and encouraging manner with a commitment to student progress
